K & J Finishing Quad Cities Paint it Forward Project
Our company, K & J Finishing, is hoping to add some joy to someone’s life this Holiday season. We would like to donate our time and services to someone in our community and we are asking for your help! Our company has been growing for the past 8 years and we feel it is time for us to give back to the community that has allowed us to flourish as a company. Detailed below are instructions for how to submit a nomination. Thank you for your help!
What: As mentioned above, K & J Finishing, would like to offer a FREE paint job to someone in the community who is deserving. This project will be completed by the entire team at K & J Finishing Co., from ownership, to our team of dedicated professionals, we are committed to providing the same excellent workmanship we present to all of our paying customers for this project. The project selected will need to be at a $4,000 value or less due to the time and resources we will have to complete the project (examples would be: full exterior of a one story house, painting a few interior rooms, or a combination of numerous needs)
Who: Suggestions for nominees may include: nonprofit organizations with little funding, those with health issues or dealing with the burden of medical costs, individuals or families facing difficult times or those who are so active in the community that they haven’t had time to keep up with their home’s painting needs.
How to Submit Nominations:
1) Go to www.kandjfinishing.com
2) Click Menu and click the “Contact” tab
3) Fill out the “Request an Estimate”
4) Please enter your info in the Name, Email and Phone number tab
5) Please enter the story of your nominee, why they deserve this free service and please detail what you have in mind for the project. Please include the nominees name as well
*Note: Please keep in mind that we are limiting this service to projects that would typically not exceed $4,000 due to the amount of resources we have to get the project completed.
When: We will accept nominations from November 13th, 2017 – December 20th, 2017. After December 20th, KC and Jason, K & J Finishing owners will select 5 finalists. From there, the entire team at K & J will select one nominee to receive their free paint job. No doubt this will be a difficult task, as we are sure to have many deserving nominations.
The accepted nominee will be notified sometime around the holiday season. At this point, K & J will begin to plan the project and work with you and/or the nominee to select a date, color selections and work out other details for the project. We will also be working with Sherwin Williams to donate the materials needed to complete the work.
