There’s something extra special about bringing new life into a 100-year-old home 🤍

This kitchen started with dated cabinets, wallpaper, and a footprint that didn’t give much to work with, but that’s where thoughtful design makes all the difference.

Every inch was considered, every detail intentional, and the end result completely transforms how this space lives and functions.

Proof that you don’t need more space… you just need smarter space ✨

NKBA Iowa Chapter's Board!

Our morning started off early with the Leader2Leader day event to honor and train the Chapter Officers. Teaching us to Empower, Educate, and Connect to local NKBA Chapters.

The fun part is next.....NKBA Design + Industry Awards / Opening Party tonight!

We're changing this post up just a bit from our regular remodels to share something new.......

Grateful for referrals that take me on the road to design. 🚕
This project involved a full rethinking of the layout. We relocated the kitchen into the dining room and reimagined the entire floor plan.

Working out of town with a new-to-me contractor made this project even more rewarding. He was excellent to collaborate with and his trust in my design vision and attention to the finer details made this remodel super smooth!

Shout out to our fabricator Blackstone Installation LLC for their amazing install on this. Notice the island looks thick and substantial, it's actually created with a mitered drop edge for a clean, elevated look. We also ran the countertop into the backsplash on the range wall.
