Helping Hands Garden Not for Profit Plant Rescue and Adoption Nursery Helping Hands Garden is a plant rescue and adoption nursery in Davis California.

Extra plants and easily propagated plants are offered out on The Stand curbside for anyone interested in taking in a plant or gifting one. Also donated garden items, such as cages, stakes, containers, art can be found at The Stand. Donated garden items and healthy plants welcome.

Do you need some gardening items? Currently at The Stand, a free plant rescue and adoption stand in East Davis, I have fir free curbside pick up the following items.

1. 6 very nice grow bags (portable fabric raised garden beds medium to large sizes just add potting soil and plant.)
2. Freshly dug Teucreum frutescens (bush germander) a lovely grey low water shrub up to 4x4 with blue flowers late fall through early spring)
3. Society garlic divisions. purple flowering evergreen clumping plant
4. 2 used hoes
5. Several various tomatoes cages
6. Bearded Iris rhizomes

Come take a look and adopt some easy to grow plants, pick up a tool or other useful garden item.

Restocked the free garden items stand with seedlings donated by my friend Elle of Sweet Mabel’s Farm. Zinnias, cosmos, scabiosa. Come grab some sprouts and grow flowers for a mom. Also at the stand, rocks, boulders, used tomato cages, a leaf grabber, a few aloes, and a few bamboo stakes. Help reuse useful garden items. Donations of plants and garden items welcome.

Big exciting news. Helping Hand Gardening is expanding and will become Helping Hands Garden-A Plant Rescue and Adoption Nursery. This page will now be dedicated to this not for profit plant rescue and adoption nursery. The stand, located on Campbell Pl in Davis California will continue to offer free plants and garden items donated for reuse in the community. Come check it out. If you are looking for a horticulturist for consultation or services or fresh foliage and flowers for floristry, Plant & Bunch is where you will fine them. Coming soon a new website for Plant & Bunch.
