Realized it's been way too long since I've posted and I've completed so many projects that I didn't put on here. Starting with the most recent light remodel. This was part of a estate that was to be sold. We decided to put " minimal " money into it but as I worked on it I found so many items that needed attention.
Almost fell through the floor in a bedroom only to find out wasn't just a floor repair. The 16' wood beam was rotted in the crawlspace.
What started as just paint and new flooring turned into a no frills kitchen remodel, then the rest of the house decided it needed to be updated! This one fought me at every turn. Glad to be done!

Re-decking in Flushing. Going to do nice black aluminum handrails in the spring.

Pulled up the carpet and pad at work. Found a hardwood floor with promise.
Next up.. stripping and sanding!

Custom porch. I should add that it's still under construction. Installing the stone sills on the post columns then tapered wood posts.

I have many projects underway in various stages but sometimes it's nice to do the small jobs too. Makes you feel like you accomplished something.

Getting ready to strip, sand and refinish this floor. 5-6 different species of wood were used. 1870's era formal dining room.
