Construction is underway on the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan! Their Hunger Solution Center is expanding their kitchen to serve more of our community. Jackie, the certified historic architect on our our team, is on her way to the annual Michigan Historic Preservation Network (MHPN) Conference, which is being held on Mackinac Island this year! She is sharing photos and fun facts along her way. Check out her beautiful view of the Mackinac Bridge and a selfie from the ferry to the island, with fellow Architectural Historian, Ron.

Jackie's Fun Fact: You may already know that the bridge is 5 Miles long, but did you know that it is the longest suspension bridge in the Western Hemisphere? The Towers of the bridge rise 552 ft above the water and the piers extend 105 ft down under the water!

Progress is continuing at the St. Mary Magdalene Church! We were able to see some interior progress and it is looking beautiful! We cannot wait to see this sanctuary's colorful glow once the stained glass is installed.
