110 years ago, W.W. Bishop papered the paper.

83 years ago, someone used a Dayton Daily Newspaper to insulate a drafty pocket door.

6 years ago, C.D. Lewis unpapered the paper.

1 year ago, I found the lost penny.

7 days ago, I read the old newspaper.

Today, February 14, 2026, I downloaded four different apps trying to make a free picture collage tying it all together.

Step by step repair of the newell post on my front stairwell. When I first got the house the bottom of the post was covered with particle board. I’m not sure what made such an awful hole, but hopefully this patch job will be a little more permanent. On the reverse side of the post there is another similar sized hole in the middle section. I’m still scratching my head on the best way to repair that though. My finish carpentry skills are a work in progress so I have to spend a lot of time to get things looking nice. The work in this post took me about 9 hours.
