Cold weather is here—and it’s the perfect time to give your trees a little extra attention!

Here’s how to help your trees stay healthy through the winter months:
🍂 1. Clear Away Fallen Leaves & Debris
This helps prevent fungal diseases and keeps pests at bay.
✂️ 2. Winter Pruning = Happier Trees
Most deciduous trees are dormant now, making winter the ideal season for pruning. It encourages strong spring growth and improves shape and safety.
🧱 3. Protect Young Trees
Use tree guards or wraps to shield young trunks from frost cracks and hungry wildlife.
💧 4. Check Soil Moisture
Dry, windy winter days can still stress trees. Water during milder spells—especially young or newly planted trees.
🪵 5. Look Out for Storm Damage
High winds can loosen branches. If you spot cracks, leaning, or broken limbs, get us to to take a look.
