With kiddos baseball and soccer games in full swing there is not much time to do the little projects around the house right now! Found a steal of a deal with this bath faucet on Amazon and snagged it up to replace our old leaky one. Of course while I was at it I had to find a coordinating light fixture. $60 and an hour later it’s looking better! I still want to get some new cabinet hardware and a different wall hanging but one weekend at a time!

Well I’ll be dipped!! Literally! I picked this lovely little neutral nail color yesterday and what pops up on my phone today but Sherwin Williams color if the year- it’s a match! I was pleasantly surprised that my nail color choice was so on trend hehe! Now to bring it into one of my design projects!

And that’s a wrap! The staircase project is finally finished! It’s so nice to be able to go downstairs from INSIDE our house. And the widened hallway just makes everything feel so bright and open. We may still do a stair accent wall, add a carpet runner, and I need to hang some artwork back up on the walls; but for now it’s good to go. Time to take a break from this year long project!

The nursery is coming along! We had to get a little creative to hide the washer box since where the crib sits was supposed to be the washer and dryer! My talented husband took a few old weathered fence boards from his childhood home and turned them into a floating shelf and accent item. On second thought tapping into that hot water might be nice for middle of the night bottles! 🤣 More pics to come as we finish the space!

Step Two of the Birthday Bedroom Update! Preselect some appropriate pink paint colors that would be a nice backdrop for everything else. Sorry no hot pink or bubblegum shades here! Search for those perfect staple items, the main furniture and accent pieces for the space. Then once I have those selected I hunt for all the fun accessories to really personalize the space! I ended up putting together 3 schemes to pick from. Which one is your favorite?!

Nothing locked in stone at this point but this important step gets them excited for what could be. It also helps me plan for the perfect items to search for!
