Yankee Street Market We are a family owned farm market & greenhouse. We grow what we sell. Yankee Street Market is owned and operated by a full time farm family.

We plant our own planters, hanging baskets & bedding flats. We grow the majority of the produce sold in our market. Produce from our fields to your home the same day.

Cucumbers appreciate good neighbors 🥒 A few pairings I like:
🌿 Dill can bring in beneficial insects when it flowers.
🌼 Nasturtiums and marigolds add color while supporting a healthier garden.
🌱 Radishes grow quickly and can fit into gaps early in the season.
🥬 Lettuce can help shade the soil around cucumber roots.
🪴 Give cucumbers a trellis if you’re short on space.
I’ve learned companion planting works best when you also give plants enough airflow, water, and room to grow.
