amaranth. moringa (drumstick tree).

Rendered suet (Tallow).
Thankful for all the rain otherwise these beautiful plants might have dried up.
Rendering tallow was kinda fun. I need lots for my projects. I am working on lotion bars, whipped tallow and beeswax lotion.

We have been super busy this past week.
The monarch caterpillars are eating the milkweed, the dragon fruit is growing as well as the passion fruits.
I made my first batch of beeswax lotion which is scented like watermelon 🍉
I finally got to my bucket list of items I wanted to can which were watermelon lemonade, watermelon rinds and blackberry jelly. All were amazing!
I've been making a lot of different fruit scrap vinegars. My favorite so far is the pineapple vinegar ❣️
The apple cider vinegar is almost done.

Tomoka State Park is such a wonderful park! There's so much wildlife, and the park is so rich in history too. Plus there are many plants to identify. I ended up finding stinging nettle, beautyberry, true indigo, wild coffee, and I think I found some seaside goldenrod.
Oh, and the sunsets are fantastic too 🤩
