Another addition going up in Sharon! This one has a living room and mudroom going in on the side of the house. The back of the house is getting a bump out for a new home office.

Making way for a new addition in Dedham! We have footings going in today and foundation walls by the end of the week. Can’t wait to start framing! This one’s going to have a new garage, mudroom and a 1/2 bathroom on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor will be a massive master bedroom with vaulted ceilings, master bathroom and a walking closet.

A little walk through of our project that we finished a while ago. We added a dormer on this home to make space for the new master suite complete with walk in closet, bathroom, bedroom and a sitting area. Dormers are a great way to take advantage of unused space you have in your home.

Here are some before and afters of a master bathroom renovation we wrapped up a while ago in Sharon. We removed the small walk-in shower and tub to allow for this massive shower and spacious double vanity.

Progress report at our Dedham project. Got our new stair location cut open and some temp walls set up. We’re cutting the foundations walls out this week!! Stay tuned for that!

What’s happening IG!! It’s been a long, long time since I’ve shared anything on here. 2021 was a crazy year. We took on more projects then we ever have which made things a little chaotic/hectic and with that came less available time for me to stay on top of posts, stories and just giving the day to day updates on what we had going on. With that being said I’ve tried to take a step back and evaluate what I want this company to be and how I want to grow.

Everyone thinks of growth in the typical way… more jobs or more employees working for you which is what I always believed it would be as well. But growth can be so many other things. It can be the types of projects you’re doing, it can be growth with in the structure of the business, it can be personal growth, it can be a growth of new skills or dialing in the skills you already have. With the company taking on more I realized that I was getting further and further away from being able to put my touch (the Chaiss Construction touch) on our projects. The thing that has made us successful up to this point. I came to the realization that I was determining growth in the wrong way. So here we are I’ve reset my focus, I’m looking forward to creating more and letting my love for this trade shin through in our projects. I can’t wait to take you guys along on this journey with me.
