Another repeat customers driveway done , sealcoated by hand .
We love to work with repeat customers , and we are very transparent , if your Driveway does not need a sealer and will do more damage then harm we let the customer know .
We recommend every 2-3 years for seal coating .
Different factors such as full sun , salting in winter , using cleaners when washing your car ect will all factor into to seal or not to seal ....
This was the perfect time for resealing .

Sometimes we are able to sealcoat some driveways that are in pretty bad shape .
While this is not a long term " fix " sometimes it is possible to do extensive crack filling with a blending technique we use , that will not leave a mess in your driveway .....

We recommend seal coating every 2-3 years depending on driveways condition.
* Things to consider , is the driveway in full sun .
* Do you salt your driveway often in winter ?
* We do not recommened power washing seal coated driveways or using chemicals ( soaps , degreasers ) ect .

While we are waiting for the spring time to come , and the flowers to bloom , I figured this would be a good time to discuss some issues about Driveway Sealer ....
* Each driveway is different. Some driveways are more porus than others. Some driveways are in full sun .
*Some driveways are in the shade. These conditions will factor in how often your driveway may or may not need to be seal coated.
* Seal coating is recommended to be done every 2 to 3 years .
* Sometimes we have customers who will want their driveway seal coated and their driveways will not benefit from seal coating at all .
*Sometimes a driveway is way beyond repair and cracked , and the sealer will not help the driveway from falling apart ......
* sometimes people have put way too much Sealer on their driveway to often , and this can cause a buildup where sealer is too thick and starts to crack , and flake off like flecks of paint ..... ( which can cause a unsightly mess as well as be tracked in and out of the house ) .
* When we give estimates , we are very transparent with our customers. There are couple of driveways that we have actually have had to say we can not do because the sealer will do more harm than good . Remember a sealer is not a magical Band-Aid. It's maintenance , and every driveway is different.
******Important things to remember about driveway maintenance is to avoid power washing the driveway , avoid using harsh chemicals, and soaps when washing cars , divert any water gutters, and running water away from your driveway .
***The way you plow your driveway in the winter can even affect your driveway pushing road salt up your driveway , over salting your driveway is going to have an effect on your driveway Sealers longevity .
* We will always give recommendations on what we think should be done to maintain your driveway , and if your driveway does not need a seal, we will not just go ahead and seal coat it " just because " .
