Gilberto Rivera for his delicious menudo and tacos. So cool to see one of your restaurants chef step out and do his own thing and winning. His spot is only a few blocks north of I-70 on Florissant Road and worth the drive.

I absolutely love this weed-eater from Lowe’s we use at the garden when our rows are too narrow or ground is to wet for a riding lawnmower or tractor pulling a tiller. The tiller is lightweight, powerful and runs a long time on a little gasoline.
In the four rows of black plastic you’re looking at 600 pepper plants.

Summer is here, and with it comes the peak harvest season for local gardeners and urban producers like us. We ask for your understanding and support in embracing the natural variability in size of our freshly picked produce. While our products may not conform to traditional store standards, their flavor certainly stands out. Don't miss the opportunity to experience the best of the local season, even if it means accepting some variation in size.

On rainy days that stop farm work, I remind myself that those extra efforts on exhausting days have benefits of keeping you on track with planting, so don’t stress out. The field will be muddy for several hours today but I am so delighted that I planted all my watermelons 🍉🍉🍉 over the weekend. Next up custom cantaloupe seeds from Italy for a late season harvest.
I still have 600 beefsteak tomatoes to plant and I’m just about out of space at the farm. 🍅🍅🍅
