Major changes going on at TnR's Farm! The pig has moved to a new home to be a brood sow. The goats went to a new home today to my cousins. They will supply some new stick to his small herd. The hens are staying as they provide fresh eggs for myself and to share with others. The house is getting a facelift with new paint inside and out. A new greenhouse has been started and area cleared for the small nursery that will be ready this fall. The plan is to have quite a few starter plants for veggie gardens, mine and for sale for others. Along with many ornamentals. Over the next three months things should come together and the place will be finished. I look forward to kicking things off with a fish fry in October. Hopefully will see yall then.

Major change here at TnR's mini farm! Tina went to be with our Lord on Feb 1st so things are a bit shaken up. She wad the heart and soul of this place and will be missed immeasurably! The farm will continue in her honor and the animals that she loved so much will be well taken care of! The garden will be planted and the ornamentals will be propagated and grown. She loved the plants I grew for her and I will continue to expand.

Busy day here at the mini farm! Planted the banana trees, potted up about 50 plants, weeded the garden, took a few pics of the flowers growing about the place. Most of them are wild not cultivated. Laid out where the grapevines are to be planted. Tina dried some more basil and put in jars. Spent a little time with the chickens feeding them some purslane, they love it. Now time to get a shower and eat some of that beef, that smells so good, that Tina is cooking for dinner. Almost full time on the mini farm so expansion is coming soon. Lining up clients for starter plants, herbs (dried and fresh), home made bacon, (it is so good) and hopefully next spring, fresh turkeys.
