We just restocked our clearance Phalaenopsis Orchids this morning. Our 4" pot size are $11 on clearance, and our large 6" Phalaenopsis are $19. They are only on clearance because all of their buds have recently opened, and are still healthy plants that can rebloom again next year!

We started with around 2,000 seedlings of our cross of Philodendron Majesty x José Buono, and are very grateful to everyone who has added our new hybrid to their collection! These plants are were just seeds 11 months ago, and are growing so fast. With José Buono as the pollen parent, we expect many of our seedlings to grow very large over the next year. The 6" hanging basket size 'Elven Magic' Seedlings are on sale for only $13!!!

Pitcher Plants enjoy bright indirect sunlight, and prefer Distilled Water or Rainwater. They will grow best in a shady area on your porch or under a tree, where they can catch all kinds of insects. Mist frequently to promote lots of healthy pitchers. These pitcher plants are planted in a chunky peat mix, and will need to be watered much more thoroughly than plants that are being grown in our sphagnum moss sponge rock mix. Do not fertilize your carnivorous plants, as they get all of their nutrients from catching insects. Fertilizer can burn their delicate roots, and causes Nepenthes to lose their pitchers.

We have 6 different varieties of pitcher plants available at our greenhouse.

We have created 6 Philodendron Hybrids so far using this method. Hopefully last night's pollination of Spiritus Sancti x Verrucosum will be a success.
