Based on the latest reports from Journey North and monarch tracking organizations, monarch butterflies are now spreading heavily through Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and the lower Great Lakes region as the next generation begins establishing summer breeding areas. Reports are even pushing into Michigan, Iowa, New York, and southern Ontario. 🌎🦋

That means Central Ohio is officially in a prime monarch activity window right now.

As temperatures continue warming through late May, monarchs will be actively searching for nectar sources and milkweed to lay eggs — making this one of the BEST times to support their journey with pollinator-friendly flowers.
