I am super excited to be adding this gorgeous self sowing annual to my garden this season! Nigella Damascena also called Love in a mist or Devil in a bush has been a personal favorite of mine for years. Its delicate flowers dance at the slightest breeze throughout a mass of fern like foliage. As if that were not reason enough to love them the flowers are followed by these spectacular seed pods that are a great addition to fresh and dried arrangements.

These flowers are more than a year old and are still so beautiful 😍 Adding a cut flowers section to our garden was a great choice!
