Asphalt Screed Operator

Duties Include:
🔸Operate & Control the screed on asphalt paving machine to maintain proper mat thickness & aliment.
🔸Set & Adjust screed controls to achieve required grade, slop and cross-slope specifications.
🔸Monitor asphalt flow and communication with paver operator to maintain consistent paving speed and material distribution.
🔸Check finished mat for smoothness, depth and surface defects.
🔸Assist with setup and teardown of paving equipment.

Now Hiring for an Asphalt Paving Laborer!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks. This role is essential for supporting our construction projects, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. The Laborer will work on-site, contributing to a variety of tasks that may include utility locating, paving, and operating heavy machinery.

Requirements:
•Physical strength and stamina - this is a physically demanding job.
•Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.
•Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•Attention to detail - critical for ensuring proper asphalt thickness, compaction and finish.
•Teamwork - work closely with operators, drivers and other laborers.
•Operating small tools or assisting with machinery.
•A valid driver's license is preferred for transportation of equipment to job sites.
•Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks within the labor force.
•Must follow OSHA and site-specific safety protocols.
