When hosing off your driveway or patio be careful not to use too much water force. It just blows out the sand meant to interlock your pavers.

If motor oil drips on your paver driveway, first place sand over the drip to absorb the oil. Then use "Dawn" dishwashing detergent over the entire oiled area.
Pour directly on the oil spots and leave alone. After a few hours take a bucket of hot water and with a firm hand brush scrub over contaminated area. It may take several applications but Dawn will do the trick.

When you hose off your pavers try to use a softer nozzle selection, using the powerful jet will shoot out all the sand in between the pavers and cause the need to replace the sand more often.Remember the sand is not supposed to be filled all the way to the top of the paver, just below a quarter inch is recommended.
