Two seasons ago I started my journey of being a retail store owner. I had been a store owner prior to having my three children, in which I worked for my parents business. Through many years of raising children I dabbled into volunteer work, substitute teaching, and working almost 15 years in the building and design industry. I decided to mesh all my worlds together when I opened forever summer. I just love helping people, creating stories through design and merchandising and so much more. This picture is of my study that for the last two years has helped my little shop become what it is today. This room in my house became a warehouse and complete mess. I had packages arriving daily at my front door and then into this space and then some. My body has been falling apart shuffling boxes to and from the shop. My goal each year is how to best deliver the product while maintaining organization and lessening the load on my body. I am happy today because I have cleaned out my home space, renovating the space and now have a 20 foot container in the parking lot of the shop. I’m so excited to start setting up for this 2026 season! Stay tuned…
