❄️➡️💧 Heads up y’all — thawing after a freeze is when the REAL problems show up.

As this winter storm starts to un-freeze, here are a few quick things to check around your house before small issues turn into expensive ones:

✔️ Check exposed pipes & hose bibs — even a slow drip means a freeze crack
✔️ Turn water on slowly (inside + outside) and listen for hissing or water sounds
✔️ Look under sinks & around toilets for moisture
✔️ Check ceilings & walls for new stains or bubbling paint
✔️ Clear ice away from doors & thresholds to prevent water intrusion
✔️ If you shut your water off, turn it back on gradually

🚨 Biggest mistake people make: assuming no water = no damage. A frozen pipe often waits until it thaws to show its true colors.

If you notice anything weird, don’t ignore it — water damage moves FAST.
