Costco treat aisle find: Krispy Kreme mini Original Glazed doughnuts are priced at $19.99 for 20, and the boxes are stacked right in front of the big sign like they’re daring snack lovers to walk past. They look soft, glazed, and easy to put out for a party or bring to work, but the “mini” part is what makes the price feel like a debate. Full-size doughnuts are one thing, but a 20-count mini box for almost $20 means people are probably going to do the math before tossing it in the cart. The display looks fun, especially with all the snack boxes around it, but convenience always has a price. Is this a fun grab-and-go dessert, or does $19.99 feel too high for mini doughnuts?

Protein aisle reality check: this fish case looks nice, but the labels tell the real story. You’ve got large white fillets on foam trays, darker red ahi tuna portions in the middle, and packaged white fish cuts stacked on the side, all sealed up and priced like seafood is now a weekend splurge instead of a normal dinner option. I understand paying for quality, and I know fish can be healthier and easier to cook, but when a single tray can cost more than several meals, it makes you rethink the whole menu. The hardest part is that it all looks good, so the temptation is there. Would you pay these seafood prices for better quality, or pick chicken, pork, or frozen fish instead?

Cherry table find today: Rainier cherries are marked at $9.99 for a 2 lb pack, and the whole produce display is stacked with clear containers full of those yellow-red cherries. The sign says $4.995 per pound, which actually makes you stop and think because Rainier cherries usually feel like one of the pricier summer fruits. They look bright and fresh in the containers, and with peaches, avocados, and other produce all around, this definitely has that seasonal fruit section feel. I can see these being perfect for snacking, lunches, or a fruit tray, but cherries can disappear fast once the container is opened. Would you grab a 2 lb pack at $9.99, or do Rainier cherries still feel too expensive?

Granted this was a publix shop had this been most other stores it would have been a nightmare but for all my Publix ppl out there yall know how great of a store it is and how easy it is to shop.

Anyone else getting these weird toys at their store??
I only got one photo of one of the weird chicken toy things, but there are many different ones. We also received so many different rubber ducks that look like celebrities etc, from the same company that sent the chicken things. I still have to find somewhere to put the darn chickens 😂 the weirdest part of all this is how the ducks and the chickens are both department 9 which is of course sporting goods. It would make so much more sense if they were my celebrations department or possibly toys. It should sell well at my store, it’s just so random!!
Edit to add: I priced the ducks after I took the photo the other day, they are $1.24
