Hearth season, handled 🔥
There is a specific kind of unfinished that shows up in every living room — the fireplace. The insert is fine, the mantel is fine, and the wall around it has been bare drywall since you moved in. You notice it in October, because October is when people start coming over.
These are 3D natural marble peel and stick tiles: real stone mosaic, 0.32" thick, 11.5" × 10.7" per sheet, five sheets to a box for 4.3 sq ft. The courses are cut at different depths, so the face catches light the way a stacked stone wall does instead of sitting flat like a print.
The install is the part that surprises people. Peel the backing, press it on, done — no mortar, no trowel, no drying time, no grout haze to wipe off the next morning. It is rated for the wall behind a gas stove, behind a sink, and inside a shower, and it is heat and water resistant.
Cutting is where you should slow down. This is stone, not vinyl: plan on a rotary tool, a jigsaw, a chop saw or a Dremel for the real cuts, and keep score-and-snap for the long straight runs. Measure twice — the sheets are 11.5 by 10.7 inches, so a surround is a math problem, not a guessing game 📐
One honest note: shade variation is V2, which is the point — but if you want the tones to line up, order every box you need at the same time 💛
