So excited to share our latest home build! 10 months ago this was a patch of thorns and dirt!
I'm absolutely in love with this wrap around porch!❤️ can't you just imagine yourself watching every sunrise, sunset, and rain storm on this covered porch!
Its always a fantastic feeling when we turn over keys and stand back to see what we've built, to imagine all the memories generations of families will create in what we've created with our hands.
This particular build was a personal design of mine that had 2 goals:
1) Create a generational home with the indoor & outdoor space a family thrives in, that will stand for great grandchildren to inherit.
2) Do it without creating debt for those generations to inherit.
And WE NAILED BOTH OF THOSE GOALS (all puns intended lol)
The numbers summary:
Heated sqft: 2,161
Unheated sqft 1,190
Total sqft under roof: 3,351
Total contract cost: $423,124.42
Price per Heated sqft: $195.80
Price per total sqft under roof: $126.27
3 bedroom/ 2 bath w/ 900sqft loft.
Even as I calculate these figures I'm shocked. In an era where 250/ sqft is the norm and 300's/ sqft is common, this home has everything you need and nothing you dont for a fraction of the cost!
Before you start thinking they must've cut quality somewhere to achieve this, think again. Here's a look at just some of the extras in this home that really put it over the top:
