Every space has potential, even the smallest footprint in a home.

This powder room transformation was envisioned to turn a standard, builder-grade space into an immersive design experience. Through the use of vertical walnut slatting, layered warm ambient lighting, textured surfaces, and refined monochromatic detailing, the room now feels intentional, sophisticated, and deeply atmospheric.
What was once purely functional is now a moment of pause, warmth, and quiet luxury.
One of my favorite aspects of this project was balancing visual impact with spatial restraint, creating depth, elegance, and character without overwhelming the compact footprint.

From dated to dreamy ✨
This bathroom transformation traded ornate details and heavy finishes for clean lines, warm wood tones, dramatic dark walls , and a spa-like atmosphere. The result? A modern retreat that feels calm, elevated, and effortlessly luxurious. SWIPE LEFT to see Before ->

A complete transformation on Preserve Lane.

What was once a dated, underutilized primary suite is now a refined, modern retreat, centered around texture, light, symmetry, and material contrast.

I reimagined the architecture to emphasize the vaulted ceiling and outdoor connection, while layering in warmth through texture and detail.

Had a really great interview with an editor from Healthcare Design magazine about my teen lounge project, which will be featured in their June issue.
We talked about designing spaces for teens in healthcare settings—how important it is for them to feel comfortable, seen, and not like they’re just in a clinical environment.

Also, fun fact: the editor’s grandparents are Finnish… so, yes, the interview ran long. 😄

More soon when the issue is out.

“What do you specialize in?”
It’s a question I get all the time, and it’s never the easiest to answer.
As an interior designer, my work spans residential, Commercial (hospitality, retail, healthcare), custom millwork, and product design. Curated spaces that blend function with feeling. But over time, I’ve realized my “specialty” isn’t a category, it’s a perspective:
How can a space support the way people actually live, feel, and connect?
No matter the project, my goal is always the same:
To create environments that feel intentional, elevated, and deeply personal.
Working across different types of spaces isn’t just what keeps things interesting, it’s what sharpens my eye. Each project brings a new lens, and that cross-pollination is where the best ideas come from.
A big part of my approach is layering: materials, textures, lighting, art, and story, to create spaces that don’t just look good, but feel right. The details matter. The way light moves through a room matters. The way a space welcomes you at the end of a long day matter.
At its core, design is about enhancing everyday life.
That’s the work I’m committed to, creating spaces that people don’t just use, but truly enjoy living in.
