Episode 109 of HGTV’s Crashers aired, and what an incredible transformation it was! I was honored to serve as both the designer and builder, partnering with an amazing team to completely reimagine this family’s basement into a space built for entertaining, relaxing, and making memories.

This renovation was all about creating multiple destinations under one roof, including:
✨ A sophisticated entertainment lounge with a custom wet bar
✨ Rich navy cabinetry paired with warm brass fixtures and hardware
✨ Dramatic handcrafted tile backsplash and layered lighting for a luxury feel
✨ Cozy media space designed for movie nights and game days
✨ A bright, imaginative kids’ playroom with built-in storage and creative play zones
✨ Custom shelving, thoughtful styling, and details that make every corner feel intentional
From the statement lighting and designer finishes to the functional storage and family-friendly spaces, every design decision was made to balance beauty, durability, and everyday living.
Projects like this remind me why I love what I do. Seeing a once-unused basement become the favorite room in the house is what great design is all about.
