Metro Caring is partnering up with Denver Food Rescue, Fresh Food Connect, and SAME Cafe Denver to host a “Right to Food” block party on 30th Avenue between Madam CJ Walker Park and Frederick Douglass Park.
You can expect free produce, produce for purchase from our farm partners, seeds and seedlings giveaways, children’s toys, face painting, voter engagement, chalk art, and much more. Our Urban Agriculture team will also host a vermicomposting workshop at 2 pm.
