We always talk about looking at the big picture of a project from 1,000 feet up… But sometimes it's fun to do it literally! This aerial drone shot provides a great view of the construction progress with at City of Thornton, Colorado Training Facility. The training complex includes administrative offices, training simulators, fitness center, training rooms, vehicle skills pad, and K-9 training yard. D2C proudly supports City of Thornton, Colorado Police Department and their Officers as well as all the brave men and women who protect and serve the community.

When Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Protection District Station 1 was constructed in the 90s it was the only fire station in The District. The growth of the area placed an ever-increasing demand on the station and its users. D2C and Mark Young Construction worked in a design-build capacity to bring the station and its users a much-deserved update.

The project consisted of a renovation and addition that included administrative offices, a kitchen, bunkrooms, and more. Perhaps the aspect we are most proud of is improving the response time from "bunk to truck", allowing these brave men and women to better serve their community.

True collaboration in process from this young team on take your child to work day! D2C had a blast as these future designers took part in activities including building a Lego fire station that the building department would approve in record time!

To put it succinctly, "this project was a major success." Construction recently concluded on the Field Facility and Training Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This 32,000 SF facility cost-effectively provides administrative offices, conference rooms, multi-functional training rooms, maintenance bays, and secure equipment storage to the facility workers, who all serve a critical role in safely keeping the lights on across the West.

The design team has been working closely with the client, user groups, owners representative Michelle Albert, MBA with , and general contractor to complete the project and help ensure that Tri-State’s team can continue to deliver reliable, affordable, and responsible power.

The new Thornton Police Training facility will provide training capabilities and techniques for the modern police cadet. These tools will help law enforcement serve their community better than ever before.

Steel has gone up at the construction site and this facility is one step closer to serving the , and its community.
