Our team completed the full interior Level 5 finish and custom stain package throughout this $1.9M home, delivering the smooth wall surfaces, crisp lines, and natural wood tones the homeowners envisioned from the start. One of the custom specifications on this project was achieving the perfect stain match on the alder doors — creating a warm, natural finish that tied the entire home together beautifully.

Color wasn’t selected here—it was engineered.

For this new-build theater inside Cherry Creek Country Club, DAECO Painting developed the entire color scheme to control how the room feels, not just how it looks. A deep, cinematic burgundy anchors the walls, chosen specifically to absorb light, reduce visual distraction, and create immediate immersion.

Every tone in the space was considered against lighting, texture, and performance. The matte finish softens reflection, the dark acoustic panels layer in contrast without interruption, and the surrounding elements stay intentionally quiet to let the screen take over.

This custom built-in cabinetry system showcases a precision Shaker-style design defined by recessed panels, square-edge stiles, and clean architectural symmetry.

The layout is intentionally structured in three tiers: upper storage cabinetry, full-height middle doors that anchor the elevation, and a lower functional zone combining base cabinets with deep drawer storage. Every proportion is designed to balance visual weight with everyday usability.

Finished in a medium-warm stain with golden and amber undertones, the wood sits between classic honey oak warmth and soft walnut depth. Tight-grain hardwood reveals natural movement through controlled stain absorption, allowing organic grain variation to enhance character without sacrificing consistency.

A satin protective topcoat provides a refined, low-sheen finish that preserves a natural wood appearance while delivering long-term durability and surface protection.

No hardware installed at this stage—intentionally keeping the focus on craftsmanship, finish uniformity, and architectural clarity of the millwork.
