By removing the wall between the kitchen and the three seasons porch, this family went from no dining space to a room that finally fits how they live.

When we opened that wall, we made sure every detail was handled, from insulation and proper ductwork to a leveled subfloor and hardwood being refinished to match the original. The end result is the traffic flow and comfort around the dining table that this family was after.

From the first conversation, we knew this kitchen needed to be more than just updated. This family loves to host, and the space needed to reflect that.

So we started over.

The custom island became the center of it all, built for gathering and cooking. Everything else was designed around it, with a layout that flows and adds storage throughout.
