Restoring Eden

Restoring Eden We planted our first fruit trees in 2015. As a young, growing family we were excited about growing our own food! We wanted everyone to share in the joy!

We are a edible nursery and landscape design company whose focus is to offer as many fruiting trees, berry shrubs and exotics as we can to our neighbors here in the PNW. We found out we could provide blueberry plants and fruit trees to our friends and family at a much lower cost than big nurseries! So In 2016 Restoring Eden was born. More than just providing one of the largest selections of edible

plants for the Puget Sound we knew from the beginning we wanted to be a resource to our clients. A place where they could learn that they too have a green thumb! Growing your own food is easy and with a little practice you will be producing more than you can eat! Let us partner with you, we provide many unique and hard to find edible plants as well as fruit trees and berry shrubs that are proven producers for our Northwest climate. We also consult with clients to help them create their unique and personalized, edible landscapes, our goal is to captivate the eye and bring delicious, wholesome food to your table. Please do not hesitate to stop by our expansive retail nursery or call us with your project needs!

Hi everyone đŸ€
I wanted to share a quick update—our owner/operator is currently in the hospital with a serious case of pneumonia. It’s been a tough few days for our family.

Our team is doing their very best to keep up with orders and phone calls, but things may be slower than usual right now. We’re so grateful for your patience and grace during this time.

Please know we haven’t forgotten about you, and we will get back to everyone as soon as we can. Thank you so much for your support—it truly means a lot to us. ❀

Bare root trees are hands-down the best way to buy fruit trees đŸŒ±
If your only experience has been those tiny, sad whips from big-box stores—this is not that. 😎
Our bare roots are large, established, and ready to thrive.

With warmer temps rolling in, bare root season won’t last long! Once they leaf out, we have to pot them up—so grab yours while you can.

Pawpaws forming on 3 years in the ground plants here in Seattle, WA! These can be a challenge to get started and there is a lot of misleading information online about these. In mild climates like Western Washington they need to be planted in full sun from the start. Don’t disturb the roots when transplanting and make sure the bed is rich in organic matter. We planted 12 out in the dead of winter this year and all but one survived. Everyone we planted in shadier spots in years past failed to thrive. Sold out now- we get them once a year in late October. They go fast!
