St. Patrick Catholic Church in Elkhorn, Nebraska, is a 157-year-old parish that has evolved alongside the westward expansion of the Omaha metro area. As the city expanded, so too did the parish's needs.

Partnering with RDG Planning & Design, St. Patrick Catholic Church began to envision what a new campus might look like — one that would enhance opportunities for gathering, worship and fellowship across generations. Hear from Father Tom Fangman of St. Patrick Catholic Church on what that space looks like now.

With enrollment on the rise, Dowling Catholic High School in West Des Moines, Iowa, has embarked on a significant campus expansion to improve and modernize many of the school’s oldest spaces. On May 19, 2026, representatives from Dowling Catholic and RDG Planning & Design joined project partners and community members to celebrate the groundbreaking and ground blessing.

RDG’s design creates a safer, more connected campus experience. The expansion includes a new student union, a secure main entrance, a relocated attendance office, upgraded dining areas, new athletic and wellness amenities, increased seating for school and community events and a multipurpose storm shelter that also serves as an auxiliary athletic court.
