Meet our Founder / CEO , Loy Cohen.

Born and raised in the heart of Detroit, Michigan, Loy’s journey began with a deep-rooted passion for gardening and landscaping that has blossomed into something extraordinary. After obtaining a BS degree from Wayne State University, Loy set out on a journey where he combined his academic acumen with his green-thumb aspirations.

From the earliest days of childhood, Loy’s fascination with gardening was evident. Rising at the crack of dawn, he would eagerly join his mother in tending to their garden. Those serene mornings nurturing the garden contributed to the founding of Serene Gardens Landscaping. Loy’s passion for landscaping combined with his dedication and expertise, will undoubtly have a tremendous impact on your landscaping needs and bring your outdoor vision to life.
