Ready to put in our peach trees and blackberries

For the first time ever, there are OVER 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ gardens in the Garden Resource Program! Help strengthen the roots we planted together by making a donation to KGD this year on . https://bit.ly/3HXxGbI

Keep Growing Detroit is cultivating a food sovereign city, where a majority of fruits and vegetables consumed by Detroiters are grown by residents within the city’s limits. Each year, we connect Detroiters to resources for growing their own food, sources for locally and sustainably grown produce, and opportunities to learn something new. With health and environment at the forefront of everyone’s minds in 2021, there’s a growing number of folks participating in our core programs like the Garden Resource Program, Grown in Detroit, and Youth Apprenticeship.

We need and want to be even better for the community, and we can’t do it without YOU! Donate a recurring or one-time financial gift to support our programs - or see if your employer offers a matching program to 2x your impact!

THANK YOU for all you do to support Keep Growing Detroit! 🍅

Many urban farmers in the Metro-Detroit area transform a vacant pieces of land into garden areas for the community. But many of these farmers don't own the land they are tending on—leaving them at risk of having their livelihoods taken away.

We all know what 2020 has been like, a year where many have faced unprecedented challenges, financial struggles and personal heartbreak. $10 get you 10 entries for a chance to win some amazing prizes.

KGD's mission to promote a food sovereign city where the majority of fruits and vegetables consumed by Detroiters are grown by residents within the city’s limits. They aim for long-term, structural change by both addressing the immediate needs of the communities in Detroit while promoting sustainable change in our food system. Our goal is to raise at least $3500 for their organization this holiday season that would help expand their garden and farm network during the 2021 growing season.

Please pledge your support over the next week leading into 2021 (fundraiser ends on Jan 3, 1159PM) and stand a chance to win some unique food & wine prizes.
