I have not forgotten about this page. I am on hiatus for plant work, because it’s too much to balance with college and my other business on top of life. Be back soon, promise.💗

I haven’t been as active on this account but trust and believe big things are coming. I’m going to college to further strengthen my knowledge in the plant world-and then I’m gonna change the game. They aren’t ready.

I just released 2,500 bugs into my collection 👀

Recently I’ve noticed a serious spider mite problem going on amongst my collection-especially my philodendrons. I’m trying to find ways to be pesticide free while also maintaining healthy plants, and I didn’t realize how easy it is to use beneficial bugs!

I ordered Natures Good Guys Special Blend Spider Mite Control mix of predatory mites and they arrived very quickly! The shipping is better than most considering it must be quick as the insects are live. All I had to do was unpackage and hang my sachets-10, each containing 250-and I’ll see how well this attacks them. I’m anticipating great results

There are about a dozen different ways that you can order the predatory mites-and plenty of specific mixes you can use for your issues. Better yet, they sell tons of other beneficial insects; lacewing eggs and larvae, ladybugs, nematodes, praying mantis egg cases and more. I’ll definitely be using them next growing season out in the garden 🌿

The Florida green I have is so infested it’s not even funny but it’s still chugging along and putting out one (or maybe two 🤔) new leaves so I’m hopeful it’ll bounce back

Going live tomorrow at 5pm EST to do some plant chores, talk about how to best feed your plants, and probably going into a spiral about the environment ✨ Come hangout and spiral with me😌

Me after my monkey tail cactus bloomed 🤩

Cacti blooms are typically a result of maturity and age. I’ve only had this guy for about 6-7 months, but these are slow slow growing; so she could be a couple years old, truly!

This is also why I don’t have a huge cacti/succulent collection 😅 I am impatient and neeeeed to see growth all the time. If it’s not popping out new leaves every couple weeks at least, I’m bored lmao

Here is a compiled list of plants that are non-toxic to cats and dogs, and considered pet safe! However I'd like to note that many of these can become toxic in large quantities; so if your pets are determined to eat all of your plants down to the soil, it's safer to stick to outdoor or out-of-reach plants.

Happy growing 🌿

Someone’s busted 💀

I’m going to make a post about plants that are nontoxic to cats-and here’s one of them! The African Violet

These plants are fuzzy in texture and known most commonly for their flowers. These three are actually all budding and soon to be in bloom. They are often given as flowering plant gifts, similar to orchids-but these are MUCH easier and far cheaper!

They grow best under grow lights rather than the natural sun ☀️ So they’re perfect for collectors who already have light setups, or those with low access to natural light who need plants that grow happily with the artificial kind.

Next time you’d like to give someone flowers, consider an African Violet instead and give them a plant that can last generations💗

I've been experiencing some serious plant burnout.

My original aquarium setup kept failing and causing tons of leaf damage on tons of my favorite plants. I haven't had the energy to sit and deeply intimately care for each of my plants in awhile.

Luckily it is a Full Moon in Capricorn. For me, this means a lot of releases regarding family views, things within myself that are holding me back, and especially releasing fears and doubts about myself.

I'm going into this lunar cycle, ready to work despite discouragement and personal issues. I'm ready to inspire and be inspired.

Regarding my plants, I have a new cabinet for my rares and my old tank is currently under repair. I'm going to go live tomorrow evening at approximately 5-6pm EST and we will get into the realness of being a plant collector who is not able-bodied, and who struggles with their mental health.
