I was told by folks who are getting snowed on that we're giving them vicarious happiness by sharing actual spring plants so here we gooooo!!!

Yes I have a love affair with Hellebore and Molly Whites aka MOLLY'S White. Enjoy this peek into her beauty.

Along with a peek of our sweet bb jacks, sitting up like a creepy weirdo.

Here's the deal: I see 25 on Tuesday but other than that we're over 28 so I say grab your plant jackets & LFGGGGGGGGG! 🙌🏻

Life's too short to stare at brown greens and empty pots. I've also been been told (and I AGREE we need more beauty and joy and Molly Whites and bb jacks and even BIG COLOR vibes.

Some of y'all will remember wayyyyy back in the beginning I often asked for help bc I didn't know what I was doing. With indoor, I fear I still don't 😬

ps: this is specifically a 🪻 bulb pot 🪻 offering which, god willing, will bloom around the same-ish time. Bulbs aren't season-long, so adding 🐰 🪺 etc won't be like "won't that look weird in June?"

i have an idea for a pink winter pot i can't seem to shake, and i'm still maybe in the mood for maybe 2-4 pots this weekend but i really needed to get my hands messy in soil (vs my hands bleeding from sticks & greens).

Finding this grapey purple while visiting my besties at seemed like kismet. Especially bc i've had this tabletop pot from sitting around for wayyyyyy too long.

Sooo, to everyone's shock, i actually created something within 24 hrs 🤯 instead of letting them die a slow death on my counter 🙌🏻

Indoor arrangements are something i've been so anxious to do. I kinda want your thoughts but also maybe only the nice thoughts? 🤪

If you're in Detroit (or similar) and your pots are under snow today, and not in a charming way:

❄️ double check there isn't heavy AF icy type snow*
❄️ grab your blower
❄️ LIGHTLY- give it a practice squeeze first, trust me- blow the snow from your pots
❄️ share a picture of your winter pots bc why not when they have just a hint of snow on them? I'd love to see them!

*carefully remove hard snow, and honestly not even all of it bc you don't want to accidentally break the yummies ya girl spent hours weaving into the greens 🤞🏻

First reel of the season goes to my lake house girly, who is actually in Florida for the season while we're all prepping for -13 this weekend! But it seems she is loving all 14 pots from afar, as evidenced by her "F*CKING GORGEOUS" text to me yesterday?

We're starting off with the 2 on the porch, because we're all so obsessed with them I felt they deserved their own highlight?

The colors were chosen to be dramatic for the holiday season, but transition well into January and beyond. I can't explain it, but champage and black and natural pods look different depending on how you're looking at them? If you're in a holiday mood, they look holiday. In January and after, they'll seem more subdued. 🤷‍♀️

Fun fact: this lovey previously had her landscape folks doing her pots- no shade to them; many landscape places aren't in the business of dramatic porch pots- so she wasn't used to over the top insanity I usually insist on in her space which is crazy bc my girl loves gorgeous things. She's also the OG "No Color Lovey" so we've worked our way to here, and I don't see her ever telling me to tone it down. I am so grateful for my clients that ride the wave with me.

Wait until you see the 12 down by the water, which she told me to keep very simple- but have you even met me? 🤪

Happy winter season, my Shawn. We love you even if you're in the sunshine while we're colder than F up here. Maybe get a spare room ready for me? 🖤

In my first conversation with Qing from , I let her know I'd never done this and it was July and maybe it would be like $250-500 and she assured me every little bit was needed would help.

So selling out all the pots for over TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS was insane and having a lovey offer to match us (THANK YOU TO THE CARLSON FAMILY FOUNDATION!!!!) to get to over $4k is beyond anything I could've dreamed of!

Ever grateful to all who showed up. You're incredible, and you truly made a difference.

Spent a beautiful evening wandering my beloved Corktown with the kind of friend who appreciates every part of perfect burgers and poutine tots on the patio at (& playing with the cutest pitty pup you've ever seen), meandering around the landscape at the train station , then popping down Leverette to visit the purple tahitian bridal veil spillers installed in Corktown Roomie's summer pots.

I really do love my life sometimes.

Thanks for being the best burger buddy and lover of Detroit with me, even though I'm 100% blaming you for us missing our Melway burger by only THREE places in line.

Thanks for the motivation to post these, after seeing your (always) beautiful pictures of the blooms at the train station.

& all the 🖤 in the world to my Corktown Roomie for being the very best caretaker of these favorite summer pots.
