Did you know roses aren’t just symbols of romance?
For generations, they’ve also represented gratitude, admiration, strength, and deep appreciation — which is exactly why they became one of the most gifted flowers for Mother’s Day. 💗

And here’s something even cooler… 🌹 Roses are tougher than people think.

Many modern roses are bred to handle:

Did you know Mother’s Day became a national holiday in 1914… and flowers have been part of it from the very beginning?

Why? Because flowers say the things words sometimes can’t:

🌱 The plant that eats bugs… but not for the reason you think.🪰🪰
The legendary Venus Flytrap doesn’t “hunt” insects because it’s hungry for protein like an animal. It evolved in nutrient-poor bog soils where nitrogen is scarce — so bugs became its fertilizer plan.

Here’s the fun-fact wild part: A flytrap won’t snap shut from just one touch. Tiny trigger hairs inside the trap have to be touched twice within about 20 seconds before the plant reacts. It’s basically nature’s built-in “Are you REALLY food?” security system.
And no… feeding them hamburger is not a good idea. 🍔🚫
They prefer small insects and lots of bright light. Too much fussing with the traps actually weakens the plant because every snap uses energy.

⚠️Four Seasons Pro Tip: Venus flytraps are NOT houseplants that love dry air and neglect.
They prefer:
• Bright sun
• Distilled/rain water only (our tap water is usually too mineral-heavy)
• Moist soil
• No fertilizer
• A winter dormancy period
They’re one of the coolest conversation plants you can own — part science experiment, part living art, part tiny swamp monster. 👀🪰
