Fall cleanup question: cut back or leave it?

Here's our rule of thumb. Cut back anything diseased or mushy. Leave coneflower and ornamental grass seed heads for the birds, and save spring-blooming shrubs like lilac and forsythia for after they bloom next year.

Not sure about a plant? Bring a photo in, and we'll help!

Meet the nursery cats! 🐈

Our furry crew keeps an eye on the plants (and the customers) every day!!

Next time you visit, keep an eye out for them napping between the plants or greeting you at the door. 🐾

Did you guess their names right? 👀

Meet the Arrow Point® Japanese Holly! 🌲

This evergreen is one of Megan’s favorite container centerpieces, and it’s easy to see why:

🌿 Naturally grows in a neat, cone shaped form
🍃 Soft, spineless leaves that are easy to work with
❄️ Stays green and beautiful all year long
🪴 Low maintenance and perfect for containers or the landscape

Pair it with seasonal flowers like pansies and violas now, then switch them out come spring for a fresh new look. 🌸

It’s not too late to plant! 🍂

Fall is one of the best times to plant in the Wiregrass:

🌱 Cooler temps mean less stress on new plants
🌱 Warm soil helps roots settle in before winter
🌱 Stronger, healthier plants come spring

Our fall favorites:

💜 Pansies and violas love the cold and bloom all winter
🧡 Big mums bring bold color to porches and containers
