From the moment I made the first call, they were trying to help me pinpoint the problem. Shannon patiently walked me through multiple fixes on the phone, and all of the staff were some of the kindest and most helpful people that I have talked with.

🚰💧 Cold Weather Reminder: Protect Your Well & Pump From Freezing! 💧❄️

As temperatures drop, your well system can be at risk. A frozen well pump or water line doesn’t just mean no water—it can mean expensive repairs. Here are a few easy ways to keep everything flowing:

✅ Insulate exposed pipes. Use foam insulation or heat tape around any above-ground pipes, especially where the pump house isn't fully enclosed.

✅ Keep the pump house warm. A small, safe space heater, heat lamp, or thermostat-controlled heater can make all the difference. Just a little warmth prevents a lot of freezing.

✅ Seal up drafts. Cold air sneaking into the pump house is one of the biggest causes of frozen lines. Check for gaps and seal them up.

❄️ Let water drip during extreme cold. A slight drip keeps water moving—moving water is much harder to freeze.

✅ Use a heat lamp or heat tape to keep your well system warm.

And remember: If you have no water, call John’s Well Drilling at 302-734-2211. We’ll get you flowing again! 💦🔧

Stay warm and stay prepared! 🔥💧
