Wrap up on an absolutely great project with homeowners who were incredible to work with to reimagine the back half of their 1920's Downers Grove home. We gutted the rear 40% of the house, expanded a galley style kitchen by structurally shoring up the space to be able to remove one main wall and three closet/storage spaces. added a walk in pantry with a pocket bookcase as an entry door. Reworked the remaining interior walls to create a new tv/sitting room, new powder room, and a completely reimagined master bathroom now accessible only from the master bedroom with custom walk in shower. Hardwood floors throughout including the master bedroom. Shiloh cabinetry with a custom harvest green painted finish from Builder Supply Outlet Chicago and their incredible designer Layne Phillips. Other features include a Kohler farm sink with pull down Kohler faucet, Quartz countertops in the kitchen and Granite in the bathroom from Lestone Marble & Granite, Barn style door into tv/sitting room, ceiling speakers throughout, custom shower glass enclosure from Precise Glass Inc., closed cell spray foam insulation by Innovative Insulation.

As part of a large project, a client wanted to surprise her husband with a "hidden door" to the pantry. There was not enough room to make it hinged so we decided to pocket the "door" in the wall. An absolutely awesome idea we were able to design, fabricate, finish, and install.
