This was not our first recommendation for this driveway but what was in our customers budget but you can see we really pulled our magic wand out on this one.

We used hot tar on the cracks, covered with a lot of black beauty/sand mix (this helps prevent tracking of the tar and gives the sealer something to bond to), and then hand brushed applied the sealer.

What do you think? Does your driveway need a little bit of magic? Not sure if your driveway can be saved?

This driveway had some really bad alligator cracks that we filled with hot tar and prior to sealing. Does your driveway have something similar?

2 options for repairing.. remove the asphalt and patch it or fill with hot rubberized tar. Any other crack sealants won’t hold up in our climate.
