My bird house are made out of cedar wood. Cedar wood can with stand wet weather. The have copper around the door opening. The keep other birds from trying to make the hole larger. The bird houses are made the correct size for bird,

My bird houses are well made they are put together with inch and eighth nails and exterior glue. They are make cedar wood which is ideal for exterior use. I put copper around the door opening so animal can not enlarge it. It takes time to make and they all home made.

My Blue Bird houses and Wren houses are make out of cedar. Each one has copper around the door opening and a clean out in the bottom. They are put together with 1 1/8 inch nail and waterproof glue made to last.
