☀️Thinking About Summer Projects

Summer always fills up fast…

Especially for exterior work.

A lot of people wait until it’s warm and sunny to start thinking about painting…

But by then, schedules are usually pretty tight.

If you’re planning on getting something done this year, now’s the time to start the conversation.

That way you’re not stuck waiting weeks or months to get on the calendar.

We can walk through timing, options, and get everything lined up ahead of time.

If it’s on your mind, it’s worth reaching out.

A lot of the work we do… you never really see.

When people think about painting, they picture us rolling color on the wall.

But the real work is everything that happens before that.

Cleaning surfaces… scraping loose paint… sanding rough areas… caulking gaps… protecting everything around it…

That’s what determines how the final result looks… and how long it lasts.

Skipping those steps might save time upfront…

But it usually shows up later in peeling, cracking, paint splatter, or uneven finishes.

We’d rather spend the time doing it right once than come back and fix it later.

If you’ve ever wondered why some paint jobs hold up and others don’t… this is usually the reason.

If you’ve got questions about a project, we’re always happy to take a look.

Choosing the Right Paint Sheen

Hey Facebook! Logan here from Grandview Painting. I was just thinking about a question I get asked all the time…… what paint sheen should I use? It really makes a difference in the final look and durability of a paint job.

For high-traffic areas like kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways, you’ll want something with a bit of a shine, like a satin or semi-gloss. It’s much easier to clean. For bedrooms or living rooms where you want a cozier, less reflective feel, a matte or eggshell finish is a great choice. It’s all about matching the paint to how you live in the space.

Just a little tip from my world to yours. If you’re planning a painting project and have questions, feel free to send me a message directly. I’m always happy to help.
