Today, we pause to remember Norma Jean Kirpes. 💙

Norma Jean, along with her husband Ray, was part of the generation that carried Pfohl’s forward and helped build the family business we are proud to continue today.

For nearly 80 years, Pfohl’s has been more than a business—it has been a family legacy. Through changing times, growing families, and new generations of customers, people like Norma Jean helped provide the dedication, hard work, and support that kept that legacy strong.

Businesses don't last 80 years by accident. They last because of people who believe in them, sacrifice for them, and work to leave them better for the next generation.

Today, we are grateful for the foundation that Ray and Norma Jean helped build, and we are honored that their son John continues to carry that legacy forward.

Our thoughts are with the entire Kirpes family as they celebrate Norma Jean's life and the many memories she leaves behind.

💙🐶 It's important to have coworkers you can lean on. 🐶💙

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind of business travel, long days, and lots of miles.

Thankfully, our team understands the importance of supporting one another. 😌

Some offer encouragement.
Some share the workload.
And some apparently become a pillow. 😅

These two have spent years perfecting the art of teamwork:
🤝 sticking together
💤 supporting each other
🚗 sleeping through most of the trip

Honestly, they may have the right idea.

As we've celebrated our 80th year in business, we've been reminded that no one does it alone. It takes family, great employees, loyal customers, and occasionally a coworker willing to let you nap on their head. 💙

Here's to the people (and dogs) who help carry us through the busy seasons. 🐾

After their big Easter debut, we thought we should share what our “employees” are doing 99% of the time…

Sleeping on the job? ✔️
Ignoring responsibilities? ✔️
Looking cute enough to avoid consequences? Unfortunately… ✔️😂

We’ve opened an investigation, but so far:
👉 zero remorse
👉 no improvement plan
👉 still asleep
