Well, it's been quite a year and I have been putting this off for some time now, but I am here to announce that Homeworks of Duluth, LLC will soon cease to exist. Last year, around this time, I teamed up with my husband and became a partner in Better World Builders. I/we still offer the same services as before - painting and general contracting - but now under one name instead of two! It has been an exciting transition and we are so happy to be working together. I spent today turning yellow ceilings and yellow walls into white ceilings and gray walls. Well, actually, I only got half of it done today - it’s a big, tall job. I’ll finish tomorrow, hopefully! Shout out to hubby, Leon Rohrbaugh and Better World Builders for helping with the scaffolding!

I didn’t get to go on vacation this summer because of the pandemic, but I did get to spend two weeks on Park Point, helping a friend turn her new house into one that truly is hers. The previous owners liked lots of bold colors, but the new owner wanted a more neutral feel. We did an off white on everything with 2 accent walls and 3 doors using the Blåfjord color from my Norwegian palate. It looks like a true beach house now!

I love using my Norwegian colors! The orange is called Solsikke and the blue is Blåbær med Melk (Blueberries with Milk)....
