This was supposed to be a matched triple, with one being mulled together on arrival.
After a factory mixup on measurement calls, we ended up getting into corrective framing, residing, and what will be sheetrock and paint. In other words, even when it goes wrong, we can make it right.

Little different style than usual, but this ones a coming soon for a future listing. Only the beginning, as with many things, but we will be prepping this house for sale after a few details are ironed out between the homeowner and the realtor. New shower, plumbing repairs, stairs and deck rebuild and repair, and a punch list as always round out the mix this go round.

New fiber cement to replace the aged and rotting LP siding, louver vent will install on arrival next week. There's a clarity that comes from rocking a 40 foot ladder all week, and always pride in the finished work. I think that counts as legs for the week, too. Feels like it, at any rate.

All in a days work. Built a small privacy fence to conceal the pool mechanical system and HVAC, while still reasonable service access for maintenance and upkeep.
The more fun part was bouncing the 40 foot ladder to demo out the existing LP siding and replace with cement board. Onwards and upwards, every day. Photo credit to Ally for being a great ground helper, and adding a little perspective of what goes into the job.

Bivens Contracting is and remains a veteran owned and individually operated business. Everything done in terms of work and content is handled by the owner, one Cort Bivens. That'd be me.
My current client and his wife are preparing for a season of transition. We are in the process of converting a family room into what will become a bedroom.
The husband wished to convert this space into a place with a view, and on ground level to provide maximal comfort and utility. The vision is for an aesthetic and pleasing view for his wife. Calling this a passion project would be a gross over simplification.

Start to finish, for a larger renovation project we completed in Roswell this fall/winter.
This was a completely unfinished build. We completed all phases. The homeowner could not be more pleased with the result, and we agree. The challenges of a home never built for a finished bathroom, boxing around existing plumbing and HVAC, and more made this a job to remember.
