Very important step that we do before starting is covering and sealing everything in plastic. We will also move your furniture out and back in. We had the pleasure to be able to customize the color that the Coffman’s chose. Of course all houses are not the same. Big houses are made to allow colors to stand out more and in this particular house we added some ebony stain in our mixture of stain giving it extra darkness color. I always tell my customers that the sunlight in your home is different from their neighbors AND that is what makes a HUGE difference. Big windows brings in more sunlight allowing you to see every detail in your floors, giving it a look of a beautiful smoothed dinning table. Pictures does no justice until you see for yourself in person.

Gordon’s at Sugarloaf Country Club. Brazilian cherry is the hardest wood in the world. The Janka hardness test gives it a rating of 3500, which makes it incredibly durable and resistant to scratches, dents, and imperfections. This kind of hardness allows it to be strong enough to hold up the use of it even in the most high-traffic areas of the home. You can use it in your dining room without the fear of the chairs scuffing the floors. Now unfortunately, because of the red, the brown, and the gray tones that are being used now it is not most people’s choice. Now, Fortunately we are here to help you with your Brazilian cherry hardwood floors. We change the tone of your hardwood floors a dark brown of your choice OR we can also bleach the red out of your hardwood floors, giving you a larger opportunity of selecting the color you are wanting. Coffman’s.
Before, during and the after pictures of this beautiful amazing transformation. The hand rails are almost sanded entirely by hand, therefore to not loose the details of the post and the handrails. Painters paint. We Unique Hardwood Inc sand all the way down to the bare wood giving you the unique look that your wood offers. It is not easy nor is it fast but the RESULTS are definitely worth it all !!!!

If you have dogs or children then hand scrape is definitely an option for you to have in your home.
Majority of scratches and dents will blend in perfectly with this beautiful design and most of all you will not have worry yourself to death about noticeable scratches and dents when you have guest over. 🤗👌🏻

Notice that these are 2 different species and the stain takes differently from the pine and oak wood.
Also, there was a carpet runner there before. The only way to remove the old stain and seal is to scrape close to the edge of the riser that removes the caulk. Painter is always required to finish the risers after the steps are done. Keep in mind, that it is not shoemold on the steps and for that reason we have to go as close as possible.
