Responsible for the management of plant manufacturing and facilities engineering functions. Ensures plant operational compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Partners with operational leadership to achieve daily customer service goals.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and ensure full facility compliance with environmental permits and regulations.
Obtain and preserve the facility ISO 14000 certification.
Develop facilities and equipment items for inclusion in the Plant Capital Budget.
Drive the plant wide deployment of TPM to maximize equipment uptime.
Supports the plant’s Lean and Six Sigma Continuous Improvement processes by driving uptime improvements through a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program and supporting kaizen activities.
Lead the Facilities and Manufacturing Engineering Team members to achieve positive results in support of plant operations.
Manage the research and justification of plant and equipment improvement project for inclusion in the facility capital budget. Manage the effective implementation of these projects.
Completes other projects and assignments as requested by the Plant Manager.
Actively supports development and maintenance of a clean, safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
Minimum 5 years business experience in a manufacturing environment
Previous supervisory experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of TPM systems
Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
