Found these Shiranui mandarins growing in our budwood house. It’s a seedless, premium citrus variety known for its candy like sweetness, bold flavors, and easy to peel skin. It’s in season from January through March in Florida.

In a huge win for Florida citrus, the EPA has approved Soilcea's CarriCea rootstock, which is designed to tolerate citrus greening disease. It works by precisely editing the rootstock’s own genes, disrupting the bacterium that causes greening from interacting with the plant, and limiting the tree’s infection.
