I'm frustrated with gross distortions of Mark Robinson's words. I'm frustrated with people who promote misleading soundbites that smear Mark's integrity. Please feel free to share the following information so that maybe more voters would support this brave conservative. We need to recapture the hearts and minds of North Carolinians who truly want what's best for our state.
Before passing judgment on a soundbite, check the context. Travis Fain, a WRAL state government reporter, accurately exposes the fallacy of a popular attack against Mark Robinson:
The line comes from a 2018 Robinson Facebook post that reads in full: “The center and leftist leaning Weimar Republic put heavy gun ownership restrictions on German citizens long before the N***s took power. This foolishness about Hi**er disarming millions of Jews and then marching them off to concentration camps is a bunch of hogwash. Repeating that hogwash makes the conservative argument against the current attempts by liberal Marxist to push unconstitutional gun control measures in this Nation look foolish.” This same article shares a Robinson 2017 Facebook post, "There is a reason the liberal media fills the airwaves with programs about the N***s and the ‘6 million Jews’ they murdered. There is also a reason those same liberals do not fill the airwaves with programs about the communists and the 100+ million people they murdered throughout the 20th Century.”
So, you see, Mark was clarifying that gun control was occurring BEFORE Hi**er came to power. He was NOT denying the holocaust! He is not an anti-Semite, but rather an anti-communist and anti-Marxist. He is drawing historical parallels to the threats we're currently feeling against our freedoms. He's boldly warning us to open our eyes to similar dangers at our own doorstep.

NC gubernatorial candidate, Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, visits Taylorsville --

On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, the current Lieutenant Governor and Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson visited Taylorsville. He was accompanied by his wife, Yolanda, and part of his campaign staff. The event took place at Scotty’s Hometown Grill, located at 30 Buffet Blvd. in Taylorsville.

The restaurant was completely filled, with some people standing outside waiting to see or meet Lt. Gov. Robinson. Robinson spent the majority of his time going from table to table inside the restaurant visiting with everyone in the restaurant. Robinson took about 12 minutes to speak to the crowd and to share his convictions.
